If only the spirit of generosity made it all the way through ’til June or July. We witness it in full this time of year and it sticks around to begin the year, resolutions and such. By May or June, we’re generally back to cutting others off in traffic and forgetting about hungry children and warm wishes for family time nestled in with each other.
Not the case this morning at the HEALing House. If you recall, a couple of weeks ago, word went out that a client is giving a computer to a needy individual, charity or business. Nimesh Dinubnai of Websrefresh, and his wife Jagruti, delivered the computer this morning to Lauren Daniels at her beloved HEALing House.
The house is buzzing in preparation for tomorrow’s holiday party. Mothers with cancer and their families will join together in celebration not just of the season but of the support they receive from one another, from HEAL and the generosity of donors like Nimesh and Jagruti.
So how do a website design business and a cancer support nonprofit hook up? Nimesh wants to give a gift at the holidays. He asks The Duchess Diaries to put out the word and we ask for letters. Lauren lets us know about HEAL and Nimesh loves the message, the meaning and the mission.
This morning, they take it one step further. They exchange information, talk about further donations and getting HEAL featured on a bigger scale. And how they can help each other in the future.
How do we keep it going? Spread the word. Websrefresh creates custom designed websites for businesses and individuals. Nimesh and his crew specialize in bringing people to sites, increasing sales, stunning photography and a unique 360 complete circle view camera. Need help with business review management? They do that too.
The Happily Ever After League (HEAL) was founded to provide support to moms during cancer treatment. HEAL assists Arizona mothers recovering from any type of cancer with at least one dependent child living at home. Since its inception in 2004, HEAL has kept the goal of never turning away a qualifying mom in need. Each month 5-10 mothers receive assistance with support that helps offset the costs involved in cancer recovery.
The need is ever increasing. If you or someone you know needs help, please call 480-275-0613 or send email to firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for assistance.
Generosity. The holiday gift that keeps giving.
