Shoppers are weary. At the mall yesterday–hate the place with a red hot passion–nothing’s changed. It’s as awful as ever. How is it a festive time of year becomes a battleground of gifts, hurrying and grousing? Add to it reflection: on love, on loss, on change, on both joy and hardship. Sometimes the weight is heavy. And some days, the only calm comes from within.
