A certain stigma goes along with a minivan. In the past few years, it’s become a sign that as far as vehicles go mom has given up. A box to haul the kids around is all that matters. Smashed animal crackers and upended juice boxes galore; life as the girl dancing on tables is in fact over.
And then Chrysler placed its bets on the new Pacifica. It’s the offering to replace the Town & Country, which always came out on top as far as minivans go. This one features a sleek body shape, Uconnect Theater, hands free sliding doors and lift gate, hybrid models and a great financing package.
The bet paid off. Car and Driver named Pacifica the top minivan in the field. The Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, Kia Sedona, Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan and Nissan Quest round out the list.
Chrysler held onto its favorite minivan feature—the Stow ‘n Go second row seats that drop into the floor, not have to be removed, to expand space. And now, they disappear with the press of a button. Believe it or not, Chrysler must have heard moms across the country—an onboard vacuum system that’s mounted in the middle of the vehicle leaving no animal cracker safe. There’s also new tech—PlayStation anyone? And loads of safety equipment.
As for the look, it is a better-looking body than other vans. No box on wheels here. It’s stylish and pretty. Besides pretty, there’s surround view camera, forward collision alert and over one hundred standard and available safety features. It seats up to eight and is priced at $28,595 with a one thousand dollar cash allowance. Financing is available for zero percent for 36 months plus up to 500 in bonus cash.
We asked Big Al, our favorite car guy and he assures us Pacificas are in stock and ready to go for your family at Superstition Spring Chrysler. Why buy from our Big Al? There’s the warranty forever and the lifetime power train warranty but my favorite is free oil changes with a new car. Two years later, my hot little 200 is still enjoying oil changes on Big Al.
