Boys And Valentines…

Wine and roses day ladies! Did you get your wine, champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, reservations, LBD? The prep alone is exhausting. Want to make it less so? Think about what you want your love to know. Here’s some inspiration from inside the hearts of the gentlemen.

“That’s the thing about girls. Every time they do something pretty, even if they’re not much to look at, or even if they’re sort of stupid, you fall in love with them, and then you never know where the hell you are. Girls. Jesus Christ. They can drive you crazy. They really can.” –J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

“It’s a very dangerous state. You are inclined to recklessness and kind of tune out the rest of your life and everything that’s been important to you. It’s actually not all that pleasurable. I don’t know who the hell wants to get in a situation where you can’t bear an hour without somebody’s company.” –Colin Firth

“I still haven’t figured out how to sit across from you, and not be madly in love with everything you do.” –William C. Hannan

“Love is when she doesn’t wear makeup. If you can’t have a conversation with her at 7 in the morning, when she has no makeup on, it’s lust. — Jack

“She was more than human to me. She was a Fairy, a Sylph, I don’t know what she was – anything that no one ever saw, and everything that everybody ever wanted. I was swallowed up in an abyss of love in an instant. There was no pausing on the brink; no looking down, or looking back; I was gone, headlong, before I had sense to say a word to her.” –Charles Dickens, David Copperfield

“She wasn’t doing a thing that I could see, except standing there leaning on the balcony railing, holding the universe together.” –J.D. Salinger

“I would love to say that you make me weak in the knees but to be quite upfront and completely truthful you make my body forget it has knees at all.” –Tyler Knott Gregson

“I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.” –John Green, The Fault In Our Stars

“Do I love you? My god, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches.” — William Goldman, The Princess Bride

Feel better? He doesn’t need all the fuss. Neither do you. Say what’s in your heart. He will too. And then pull a small box of some sort from his pocket.

Happy Valentine’s Day Dolls.
